Before faith came did we keep the Sabbath? Should we have seeing that it was taught by our school master?
The Sabbath was kept by the Jews only. The laws were given to them. Not to all other people. They were a special group of God's followers. When they denied Jesus as the Messiah and were instrumental in killing him, they were no longer God's chosen. Jesus replaced the commandments with two. To love Jehovah with all your heart, soul and mind and to love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus instituted a new covenant with the Apostles on the night he was to die. He asked that all commemorate this new covenant with a memorial of his death. To some it is called the last supper. Not to be confused with the pover supper celebrated on the same evening. The memorial replaces the pover. The pover was for time indefinite, not forever.
