yes you can sue and several cases have been brought against the parents or doctor of an adult circised as a child resulting in damages being awarded to the victim on the grounds that unwarranted surgery was performed on a minor from which consent could not be obtained . all surgery exposes the patient to risk of permanent injury deformity or mortality and therefore non- essential surgery is considered illegal when consent has not been obtained and it is not a life saving procedure.
