How much would a 1953 Encyclopedia Britannica set be worth?

I'm trying to sell it on eBay for my father-in-law. He has the entire set as well as all of the yearbooks up to 1979. He has the atlas too. I think they are leather bound. I haven't seen them in person, but they look to be in pretty good shape. There's a bookcase with them that I think came with the set that has a slot that the atlas sits in. I'm not completely sure if he is selling the bookcase too, so thoughts on value with and without the bookcase would be much appreciated!
