How to use the papers effectively?

Hello Friends. This is Prabhakaran from India. In our office, my work is mainly based on papers. Since, India is a developing country, the cost of papers is some what higher here. In our office, First I have to show them the rough copy in a paper. After corrections, I have to take the copy in a fresh paper as a fair copy. But the rough copy has no use at all rather than checking. I hope this is the method in all offices. Why I writing this here is, I need to know how other offices, are the dealing this matter. i.e how they are saving the papers effectively. I also want to know whether erasable papers have been invented or not. Because, sometimes we didn’t know the latest innovations in all field. Thanks in advance.
