What can I do if I'm failing 3 cles: English, World History, and Biology?

How should I take summer school? What should I do so my parents don't kill me? My grades suffered not because I couldn't do it but because I wasn't consistent with homework grades and therefore failed. One thing late led to another. Now that I've actually started high school, all my hopes are gone because what's the point if I fail...right? I've hit rockbottom-I'll never get a teacher recommendation, everyday I'll have to hear the same grade-exchange, and never be dependable. Help! Is it even worth working at the end of the year if I'm going to have to take it again anyway?
