MYSTERY COUGH WONT GO AWAY!?!?

so it started out with a cold about amonth ago. the cold lasted about a week and a half but i was left with a nasty cough and just sick. Soon after 3 weeks with this cough it caused me to throw up cuz it was so bad, couldnt sleep( gets very bad at night). And caused extreme headaches on one side of my head. i didn't know what to do so i went to the doctors. They heard some crackling in the lungs when i breathed in so they said it was settling in my lungs and would begin to be phnumonia. So the put me on the Z pack which lasted 5 days. My cough definelty decreased a bit but now it is still bad and again making me throw up and is worsening at night leaving me with very bad headaches. I don't know what this could be its not normal it wont go away! im only 16 and i know i shouldnt be coughing . also iv been on the Z pack for about a week now and its still not better!

Tropical Fish - Why are their fins being 'eaten'?

I have several neons, mollies and a male swordfish tail (the female having died). Until recently I also had a male Siamese Fighter which had co-existed quite happily with the others for several months. Last week I introduced 4 guppies (3 female and one male) and within hours one was dead having had its tail 'removed' and the others quickly followed together with the Siamese which had never been bothered previously. The Siamese' fins had almost completely gone. Can anyone tell me why this should happen with fish that should co-exist - who could have been the culprit etc? ( I did segregate some of the fish I thought might have been responsible but still the fins disappeared). I suspect the swordfish tailed fish but could it have been that the neons turned cannibal? I couldn't catch it happening and obviously want to avoid it happening again. It was as if pyranha fish had taken over the tank? This was far too quick for it to be fin rot.

I'm having a gold colored l discharge a week before my period is due... what is it?

It's not thick or a weird texture at all... its just there when I wipe. I haven't had any symptoms of my period coming except for a couple of very very tiny l twinges. Normally I get bad bad cramps in my sides and l area. Anyways, I had a slight gold color discharge yesterday with one small blood clot. And now its just a barely noticeable gold stain almost not there. Period is not due till the 14th. Just curious as to what it is or might be?

Why is carbon monoxide so harmful?

Because if you have a lung condition it can make it worse. When I was 15 I had a lung biopsy and I was breathing thru my mouth, the nurses came in and said that I had to start breathing thru my nose as breathing thru your mouth brings in more carbon monoxide, you can get carbon monoxide posioning from faulty air conditioners as well which can lead to legionnaires (sp?) disease. Also when people kill themselves in the cars the fumes from the gas are carbon monoxide so that's why it kills them as well.

My story doesn't have anything to do with the animals. A couple of years back we were at the zoo taking everything in on a hot summer day. Around the bend of one of the many asphalt walk ways there happened to be a large mud puddle right at the edge. We were walking right past this when out of some where, this little guy who could not have been more than three or four year old, dressed in a Hawaiian shirt, short pants and sandals made a bee line for the mud with his mother in hot pursuit. " No no no, don't go in there, oh no!" He was having a great time just stomping around in the mud, high stepping up and down, laughing away. He just wanted to cool his little toes off was all. It was the cutest thing we'd seen in ages.

Are you *sure* you formated it? Using which function? If you did a "quick format", the CD is NOT blank. It merely has a blank "directory", and that means any CD writer will see it as "in use".

Need help w my red ear slider tank!!!!?

I just upgraded my res tank to a 40 gallon from a 29 gallon ( i had the 29 for a week and learned that it was not large enough) He is 12 years old and big. I got a new 40 gall filter that is cartridge and i just set this tank up yesterday. today the tank is already dirty..kinda has a brownish tint to the water and it hasn't even been a day. the reason i got the bigger tank was because(so i was told) that it would cut down on the amount of s in the water. I have no gravel in it just some large river rocks on one side. What am i doing wrong... I just got this turtle from my nephew who hasn't taken care of it so i want to make sure everything is right. Mankind's mouth is very crude where it spouts out sweet and sour words, which muddies the truth like salt water and fresh coming from the same spring, the bad news of undrinkable water. Just listen to the Gospel, and given time mankind's spring may gush forth beautiful fresh spring water of Jesus' love! That beautiful Christian 's word Gospel lagoon for mankind to swim in would certainly put out their sin, where the devil needs to swim in petrol. Dragons sitting on their nests breathing fire at pers by is similar to mankind's tongue, just a little puff and it can really set a lot of things on fire, only to be gently put out by a believing Christian as long as the dragon has a little faith in Jesus and courage to leave the devil. Mankind really can receive the love of Jesus, with just a little give and take in their lifestyle, give their heart to Jesus, and take their heart away from the devil. Summarising though, for sure Christian's words can definitely pour the cold waters of the gospel all over mankind, but mankind has to be prepared to make a lot of hissing noises like red hot steel cooling which can hurt during the cooling process, heaven though is well worth it. Why can't everyone stop the race card because even the innocent feel they can't even comment on anything?

I have been on many talk forums and right off the bat when you criticize Obama it becomes race and nothing else. If someone gets pulled over it is automatically because of race it seems. Yes, the professor being asked about going in to his own house may appear a little edgy but I would have no problem showing my ID for anything. Sure there are many people who don't throw the race card at you. That's not the ones I see. It's always the ones who spout trouble that get the publicity. I worked years ago with Walter Hood, a Black man who was a paratrooper in World War 2 and we could talk about anything. I feel that I have the right to criticize Michael Vick for fighting and killing dogs, Obama for his policies or lack thereof, or any person of any race without having to walk on eggshells and be fearful of being called a racist which goes on a lot. I had absolutely nothing to do with racism. I know the real meaning of it and there sure as hell is no way the White race is superior to any race. It doesn't add up at all. Of course I will never know what it was actually like to go through that. My co-workers asked me if I was ever made to feel like I was not a person. I honestly had to say no but there has to be some realization that there is always going to be some form of racism but that doesn't warrant all people for any comment or criticism of any race to be labeled racist.

It's the same question as "why does God say to kill s but later in the Bible it says not to kill?" The Bible is full of contradictions and it's always up for interpretation. There's no right answer because the bottom line is nobody knows for sure. God hasn't appeared to anyone and explained why it is the way it is. All you'll find on the internet are a bunch of theories and opinions.

My 2nd Poem critique please?

I like the idea, but the continuous rhyme of "pain" "drain" "same" "game"...it was kind of annoying, if you know what I mean. It kind of draws the attention away from the poem. If you added different rhymes, and not have used the one so much it might have been better. Also remember that a lot of famous poet's poems actually don't rhyme.

Reasons can hurt please...?

Now I am 24 and have a very healthy drive. I have been with my boyfriend two years. But have always kinda had this problem. I can have missionary and feel fine, its the moves like from behind that cause me mild pain. I thought maybe it was my boyfriends size. When we first started sleeping together it took a little bit because he is on the larger size. But that went away. Then I thought it was because we needed more lube. And that isnt the case either. I have gone to my OBGYN and they tell me to use more lube. Well thats not the problem. The pain is around where you get cramps. It is a sharp achy pain. And sometimes it will hurt for awhile after we are done. And I know he must be hitting my bladder because I always feel like I have to pee when we are in that position. I know you are gonna say well dont use that position. But when we get in this one position it feels wonderful. And when we have its just not about pleasing me I want to make it feel good for him too. And he knows its a problem. But unless it hurts really bad I just bare it. Because my boyfriend will take it personal and he thinks that everything hurts. He is so sweet tee hee. So I wondered if anyone else had this problem and what it is. I know I should go back to my doctor. And I will but in the mean time. Can you help? Thanks.

Has anyone ever had problems getting pregnant cause of their irregular cycle only to get on BC and get prego?

My Fiance and I have been trying to get pregnant for about a year now. (I have a son from another relationship who's 2) I started to get irregular bleeding so my Dr put me on loestrin 24. Its my second month of BC.....I have breakthrough bleeding (called Dr said it was normal). I have 3 more packs he wants me to take. Headache caused from dehydration?

Lately i have been getting some really bad headaches. I am 21 yrs old, and up until this year have never had a serious headache, and now it seems like i'm getting them all the time(2-3 times a week). at first all it took was letting my hair out of my pony tail, but that's not enough anymore, I do think one cause could be lack of water, I didn't drink much today, so i have chugged a few gles. Will this even help? is there something else i can do? I can't swallow pills and chewing a pain reliever is so gross, i only do it if i feel like i'm about to die. it's getting close to that point. I purchased an item recently with my Debit/Credit card through my bank. The company I purchased from sent me the goods with a receipt, and the item was authorized by my bank, but it has never been charged. The company has yet to take the money from my account. It's been over six months and the money is still in my account. It's a fairly sizable amount of $3,400. Does anyone have any idea of my rights? I called the company several times explaining that they had never taken the money they were owed. The representative said she would contact the accounting department, but nothing has ever happened. My bank said there's "no statute of limitations" and that they can collect the money owed at any time. I feel like if you sleep on your rights you loose them, as it were.... I was wondering which cd computer repairer use to install a fresh copy of windows by formatting the pc? I mean if the customer has a laptop with preinstalled windows with COA attached to laptop(usually this is an OEM version installed) and if their windows corrupted and they even dont have the windows cd which came with laptop and if he/she go to computer repairer shop which cd they will use to install. I went to 2 3 computer shop and ask them (by making story) that my laptop harddisk became crush and i want to reinstall the windows but i dont have windows cd. They said thats ok we will use our cd and use your serial key written on COA but i dont understand which cd they will use because i know every computer which use oem installed windows have their own unique cd key locked with they motherboard chip detection so which cd they will use? any generic OEM windows cd? if it is then is it legal to use generic oem windows cd and use customer's serial written on COA? specifically, if anyone know, is it legal in australia or not?

I don't care about political correctness or anything, but calling Native Americans Indians is just really wrong. I mean, even though real Indians shouldn't really have that name since that's a name of the Sindhi language that the British tried to enforce (Hindustani, etc., might be better names). You ought to call Native Americans that or perhaps even Red Indians, but I think the latter might be more or less derogatory since it refers to skin color. Why do pro-republican clothing companies like Macy's, Nordstrom, Kmart, and Walmart overcharge their very, very cheap clothing that are made out synthetic materials ? I see clothing like gloves, hats, and shirts that are made of synthetic material like polyester and acrylic. If you don't know, Polyesters and acrylic are made of different types of cheap PLASTIC, which are made mainly in China. I walked into their stores to buy some thick and bulky mittens and hats for winter, but saw only their very overpriced cheap clothing.They were really thin and flimsy. Plastics are not designed to keep you warm during winter at all. Plus, how they make and distribute these plastics are very harmful to the environment.

so i own a 2 year old green iguana. Idk what it is but i call her a girl ha. Anyway I read she should be about 3 feet long, my iguana is about half that! i feed her collard greens, kale, mustard greens, bell peppers, and sometimes i offer her zoo med all natural pellet food ( which has collards and other greens in it ). She has a uvb bulb, zoo med 5.0, and in the summer she goes outside alot. i mist the cage every day and when i feed her i spray the veggies so i know she gets enough water. RIght now im builidng her a a cage 4 ft wide and 5 feet tall. But until that is done she is staying in a 20 gallon tank. Why isnt she growing like she should be????? i do admit there has been days where i forgot to feed her cuz i got caught up in school and stuff but i dont think that would affect her that much. HELP!!! My mother is trying to drain me financially?

I have posted several posts about my mother. My father ped in 2005 and my older sister and her 4 kids (ages 14, 18, 19, and 20) live with my mom. What do I do about my lab/pointer mix?

I'm actually asking this for my mom. She has a 1 1/2 year old female lab/pointer mix that keeps on scratching the walls up...pulling up the carpet...chewing around doors (through drywall!)... and refuses to be crated. She's 85 lbs. and they just can't get her in what so ever. She is housebroken when they're home, but not when they're gone. Help merging onto highway?

Okay so today I was merging onto the highway. Note that my usually merge lane, we have no yield sign for us merging on, traffic was light. So merging on, I always accelerate to the speed that the traffic on the highway moves and use a blinker. I checked and saw someone in the left lane but they weren't right beside me or in my blindspot. While I was merging over, they decided to haul *** last minute and blaring their horn. Note they were an ambulance and no they had no flashing lights, nada, just driving like normal till this happened. They moved to the empty lane next to them then sped up, the young man proceeded to flip me off! I was like what??? Then they cut me off sharply that I had to press on my brakes. I moved away from them because I was a bit freaked out only to have them speed up to drive up to my window making gestures, I'm not kidding it was seriously weird then they followed me for a distance but exited the highway just to turn around. Should I have called the highway patrol about this behavior or what?

Just had my eggs harvested....They are worried about hyperstimulation.?

We are doing invitro currently. yesterday I had my eggs harvested. I had 65 follicles and they removed 24 eggs. I had more to remove but the ovary it was on was hiding behondmy usterus so they could not get to it. I did my trigger shot so they are currenly ovulating and I am in quite a bit of uncomfortable pain. How long will this last and they seemed concerned I may get hyperstimulation and may have to postpone transfering the eggs if that happends. Has anyone had this happen and what occured? I would say "to cull". However, not in the way that one thinks when they hear "cull". First, to me there is only one reason to breed dogs - to continue the promotion of a specific breed - the parents should be excellent quality of the breed. If you breed two "perfect" parents and the end up with a puppy or two that have issues - obviously there is something in the genetic makeup that is undesirable. Both parents and all litter mates should be fixed - end of story. That is how I believe you ethically cull. These fixed animals would be pet quality and make someone great pets but they shouldn't be allowed to reproduce.

I am a student attending beauty school in Machusetts. I had the flu for two weeks in December and made up my work with better than adequate grades. The administrators (a week after the fact) announced to the entire night cl that a student would be dropped due to attendance. I did have a doctor's note but I could not make up the time I had missed. Throughout the time you are enrolled for you are given an allowance of missed "hours". I don't believe I went beyond what I could afford. Regardless, I was dropped due to the average between my grades and attendance for the modular I was sick. They claimed there was a new policy where if you fail a modular you are dropped. The policy should take place when we are informed and I should not be penalized for what happened two weeks ago! Later they told me the policy had always been there but they never enforced it. I later found out that your attendance and graded work should not be averaged together to determine if you p a modular. I spoke to someone and he seemed to be trying to help but I haven't heard from him in months. I have started cl again though 100% attendance is necessary even if ill or I will not be allowed to return. I'm considering a lawyer in seeking the justice the school won't provide. Any information as to whether I even have a case would be appreciated.

Period related issue please help!?

Here's my issue. My friend JUST invited me to the beach. It took all of five minutes after I hung up the phone and accepted her offer to discover that my period just came, and almost a week and a half early too which is somewhat shocking since it's usually late. I don't know what to do. After I stopped cringing at the fact that I almost wore white shorts today (scary thought) I've come to my big problem. I don't know how to use a tampon. Could Someone Please Help Me Negotiate With My Parents?

So...here's what happened. Back in March of 2009 my boyfriend left to take a job teaching English in South Korea. Being as he's been the only boyfriend I've ever had and also being as I had money that I had been saving to go on a trip that got canceled I was able to go and visit him last summer. As happy as I was to be with him I was sad again when I arrived back in America...I also had my first semester of college this year and it was "interesting" to say the least. My first roommate tried to get me kicked out of college on false accusations of vandalism (I was at a club meeting when she said that I poured cough syrup all over her belongings and that the syrup belonged to me which it didn't...I don't take drugs) and also send strange men into the room when I was by myself at night. Luckily I got switched out and while my next roommate and I got along without issues she was using/selling drugs and was cutting herself and leaving the towels she used to clean up after wards all over the room. To top it all off I was taking sopre level cles right off the bat...what kept me going throughout all of this was that I thought I was going to get to see my boyfriend during Christmas break. I soon found out that when my parents told me to "just wait" when I asked them back in late August/early September they never planned on helping me go back. I felt like they had lied to me when they had told me that we'd talk about it later instead of telling me that they weren't going to let me go back in the winter. When I came home on Christmas break I tried to talk to them again and they forced me to agree that I wouldn't be allowed to go in the summer unless I had a job lined up...I tried to explain to them that it's January and no place is looking for summer employees right now, the 2 places that actually gave me a date when I could check back for summer jobs was around Mother's Day...that's 4 months away and during that time my finals are occurring so I can't really look that week. After much negotiation I got my parents to agree to let me purchase a ticket even if I didn't have a job lined up after winter break. I then found an affordable ticket ($1000) to Korea and I have the money to pay for it and my spring semester fees but now they've gone back on their promise to let me go...they say that if I go at that time I won't have a job for the summer even though I have a source of income (a dogwalking business). I feel upset that they've lied to me twice and that they've told me that "it's your money" and "we won't stop you" but still refuse to let me go. What should I do...talking to them and explaining why I feel the way I do doesn't work and they say I have to have a job before I buy the tickets...if I wait to buy the tickets until 2 weeks before I go they're going to be about $3000 and I know I can't afford that. Please help me!
